Police: Man Tried to Lure Child into Car in Five Towns

A man tried to lure a young girl into his car Thursday evening in Cedarhurst, according to Nassau County Police.

At around 7 p.m., the man tried to lure the 5-year-old victim into his car on Marlborough Road between Buckingham and Oxford Roads, police confirmed.

Officials said the man was in a black car. The vehicle is reportedly an Infiniti model, according to The Yeshiva World.

The incident is still under investigation as police patrols focus on finding the man. Anyone who sees suspicious activity should call 911 immediately.
