PSEG LI Selling Premium Programmable Thermostats To Save Money For Customers

UNIONDALE, NY — PSEG Long Island has a plan to help customers save money on the electric bills. From July 2-15, the utility company is offering an Independence Day sale on premium programmable thermostats.

Using a programmable thermostat can help manage a home's heating and cooling needs automatically. ENERGY STAR estimates that properly used programmable thermostats can save users approximately $100 a year.

Customers save up to $170 on premium programmable thermostat models from Google Nest, ecobee and Sensi, including five models for less than $5. The units ship free of charge.

The promotion is available to PSEG Long Island customers on its website.
