Question of the Day: Village Response to Hurricane Irene

Hurricane Irene stormed through Rockville Centre last Sunday, knocking down trees and telephone polls as it rolled through the village.

Village crews were out all night and day on Sunday clearing roads and handling downed trees. In my opinion, the response was efficient, swift and well handled from the bottom up.

With that, Wednesday's Question of the Day is this: What did you think of the village's response to Hurricane Irene?
