Rockville Centre PBA Hosts Holiday Food Drive Next Month

The Nov. 18 drive will benefit the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Rockville Centre.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — As the holiday approaches, those less fortunate are on the minds of the Rockville Centre PBA. They are holding a drive-up food drive on Nov. 18 to benefit Sharon's Food Pantry at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Rockville Centre.

Non-perishable items sought include peanut butter, jelly, cooking oils, kids' snacks, pasta, sauces and hot and cold cereal. Plus, holiday favorites such as stuffing, instant mashed potatoes and canned vegetables.

The food drive is taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rockville Centre Police Department on Maple Avenue.
