Rockville Centre Restaurant Owes Former Employees $280,000: Report
Nick's Pizza was ordered by the state to pay eight employees more than a decade ago, ABC7 reported.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — A popular Rockville Centre restaurant has been ordered by the state Department of Labor to pay former workers thousands of dollars in back wages, but they remain unpaid, ABC7 found.
Court documents show Nick Angelis, owner of Nick's Pizza on Sunrise Highway, owes more than $280,000 to eight previous employees, ABC7 said.
One of the former workers, Jorge Martinez-Romero told ABC7 that he is due more than $40,000 in back pay.

Three previous employees of Nick's Pizza said they would typically work 60-75 hours per week with a rate below the minimum wage, according to the ABC7 report.
