RVC Girls Softball Moving Closer To Junior Little League World Series
Three boys' teams from Rockville Centre also have their sights on the Little League World Series.
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The Rockville Centre 14U girls' softball team is crushing the competition.
The squad won their two sectional games by a compared score of 26-0 and advanced to the state tournament.
The girls face Elmsford, NY on Saturday for a chance to reach the Regionals in Orange, Connecticut.

Should Rockville Centre keep winning, they'd punching their ticket for Kirkland, Washington and an appearance in the Junior Little League World Series. It takes place from July 30-Aug. 5.
They aren't the only youngsters from Rockville Centre seeking a spot in the Little League World Series. Three different boys teams: Under 10, Under 11 and Under 12-year-olds are in participating in the Sectionals, with a shot at the state tournament in Connecticut.

Winners advance to the Little League World Series, held from Aug. 16-27 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
