Shots Fired Into Air In Nassau; Man In Custody: Police
A black Beretta APX 9mm handgun was recovered as Felix Hernandez Morales faces charges that include reckless endangerment, police said.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — A Freeport man was arrested for firing shots in Rockville Centre, police said.
Officers responded to a parking lot at 525 Merrick Rd., where Felix Hernandez Morales, 26, removed a gun from his jacket pocket. fired it into the air during the overnight hours on Tuesday before fleeing, authorities said.
Shell casings were recovered from the ground. No one was injured, police said.

An investigation led police to arrest Morales, 26, at his residence on Tuesday afternoon. Officers recovered a black Beretta APX 9mm handgun, police said.
Morales is charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment. He was scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday.
