South Nassau's Cancer Center Earns Business Achievement Award
Award given to businesses that are proactive in its support of the community.

The Valley Stream Chamber of Commerce recently named South Nassau Communities Hospital's Cancer Center the recipient of its 2010 Business Achievement Award. Dr. Rajiv Datta, medical director of the cancer program and chief of surgical oncology, and Cat Taylor, assistant vice president of oncology services, accepted the award on behalf of South Nassau. The hospital is located on the border of Oceanside and Rockville Centre.
"This award is a testament to our commitment to provide a cancer care program that combines an experienced team of oncologists and staff with leading-edge medical and cancer treatment technologies so that the residents of the communities we serve do not have to leave their neighborhood to access standard-setting cancer care," said Joseph A. Quagliata, president and CEO of South Nassau Communities Hospital.
The Business Achievement Award is presented annually in appreciation of a Valley Stream business that is proactive in its support of the chamber's mission and objectives and for the well-being of the residents and community.
