All-American Drive In, Massapequa, is your top choice. The Merrick Road fast food spot typically has lines wrapped around waiting to order.

Honorable Mention:

Austin Kitchen in Island Park. One person praised: "The Oklahoma burger hands down the best in all of Long Island."

American Burger in Rockville Centre and No Good Burger Joint in Baldwin also ranked high.

For Suffolk:

The Golden Globe Diner has the top burger. Peter Thomas of Syosset said: "Best turkey burger and signature fries ever."

Another person has frequented the Golden Globe Diner since it was the "Golden Dolphin Diner."
