RYE, NY — There are signs that the real estate market in Westchester remains red hot — especially for those special listings.

Listing agent Michèle Flood closed on the property in Rye for $3.705 million, nearly 20 percent over the original listing price, last week, Coldwell Banker Realty announced.

Built in 1910, the 5,080-square-foot, 7-bedroom, 4.5 bathroom Colonial was renovated with a new kitchen and baths "blending old world charm and character with today's modern look."

Located on a level acre in the heart of Rye, the home is an easy walk to schools, the village and the train station.
