7 Hudson Valley ZIP Codes Among The 50 Most Expensive In NY: Report

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — There is no question that real estate in the Hudson Valley demands a high price, but a just released study found seven Hudson Valley ZIP codes were among the most expensive in the state.

While the most expensive ZIP codes in New York are clustered around Manhattan and exclusive Hamptons neighborhoods, a Stacker ranking of the 50 priciest ZIP codes in New York listed seven Hudson communities among the highest priced in the state.

The 10580 ZIP code in Rye is ranked at 17 on the list, with a typical home value of $1.77 million, which is 401.3 percent above the typical home value in New York. The 10577 ZIP code in Purchase is ranked 25 with a typical home value of $1.37 million, which is 287.5 percent above the typical home value in New York.

While home values have risen across the board, on average, the house prices in the Hudson Valley have risen faster than real estate prices in New York City and across much of the rest of the state.

Stacker came up with its list of zip codes with the most expensive homes in New York State by ranking them by the Zillow Home Values Index for all homes as of February 2021.
