This Exclusive Hudson Valley ZIP Code Is Among The 100 Most Expensive In The Entire U.S.
A new study from PropertyShark ranked one Hudson Valley neighborhood as one of the priciest addresses to buy a home in the entire country.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — There is no question that real estate in the Hudson Valley demands a steep price, but a just-released study found one Hudson Valley ZIP code is again one of the most expensive in the entire country.
Real Estate market-watcher PropertyShark calculated median sale prices based on closed home sales, to identify the 100 most expensive ZIP codes in 2025. One Westchester County community was listed as among the very highest priced.
For the 10th consecutive year, Rye's 10580 ZIP code returned as Westchester County's priciest ZIP code. The 10580 ZIP code ranked 92 on the list, with a listed median sale price of $2.16 million. This is a drop down the list from 2024, when Rye came in at number 70 with a median sale price of $2.2 million, but better than 2023's ranking of number 100 with a median sale price of $1.8 million.

While the 10577 ZIP code in Purchase did not make the list this year or in 2024, it ranked 64 on the list in 2023 and came in at number 88 in 2021.
In order to determine the most expensive ZIP codes, PropertyShark said that it considered all home transactions that were closed between January 1 and September 30.

Due to multiple ties, 120 ZIP codes made this year's list. California claimed 61 percent of the most expensive ZIP codes in the country, the most of any state. New York had the second most with 15 ZIP codes making the list, its weakest showing in a decade, according to PropertyShark.
Miami Beach's Fisher Island became the nation's most expensive ZIP in 2025 with a $9.5 million median sale price, marking Florida's first number 1 ranking. Atherton, California came in at number 2 with a median sale price of $8.33 million, ending its eight-year run as the nation's most expensive ZIP code. Sagaponack, NY ranked number 3, with a $5.93 million median sale price.
NYC claimed three of the country's most expensive ZIP codes, according to the report.
