Lottery Open For New Affordable Condos In Rye Brook
The sale price of an 1800-square-foot, three-bedroom townhouse with a patio and one-car garage is estimated to be $270,000.
RYE BROOK, NY — A great deal on a new home in a desirable location could be in the cards for those who qualify and have a little bit of good luck on their side.
The Housing Action Council announced that there is a new chance for fair and affordable homeownership in Rye Brook and applications are now being accepted.
Brookridge Gardens townhouse-style condominiums are located at 263-265 North Ridge Street in the Village of Rye Brook. There will be four units located in two two-story buildings. Each unit will have a separate entrance, 2.5 bathrooms, a living room, a dining area, kitchen with a pantry and Energy Star appliances, hardwood floors, hook-ups for a washer/dryer, gas-fired heating and cooling. The three-bedroom units will be approximately 1800 square feet with a patio, one-car garage and additional outdoor parking. A condo association will be responsible for maintaining sidewalks, roads, driveways, the parking area and roofs.

The sale price of a three-bedroom condo is estimated to be $270,000. Estimated monthly real estate taxes will be $750, while estimated monthly common charges will be $150. There is a minimum occupancy requirement of 3 people per condo.
The condos are available to those with a household income below 80 percent of the average monthly income in the region. In order to qualify, a three-person household can have a maximum income of $91,800, while a six-person household can earn up to $118,300.

The homes are located conveniently close to the Rye Ridge Shopping Center, Metro-North, the Hutchinson River Parkway, I-287 and I-95. Manhattanville College, SUNY Purchase, Pace University, Pepsico, White Plains Hospital and Greenwich Hospital are also nearby.
Residents of Brookridge Gardens will be served by the Blind Brook-Rye Union Free School District.
The developer is Port Chester-based Lazz Development, whose portfolio also includes similar developments in the City of Rye, the Village of Rye Brook and the Village of Port Chester.
