'Metal Pellets Recovered' After Window Broken, Siding Damaged Outside Farmingville Home: Police

FARMINGVILLE, NY — "Metal pellets" were recovered near a broken window at a Farmingville home after a resident reported hearing glass breaking on Saturday night, Suffolk police said.

Officers from the 6th Precinct in Selden were called to the Berkshire Drive home at around 7:17 p.m., for a report of possible bullet holes, but upon police arrival, it was determined that the holes seen in siding outside the home were not those made by bullets, according to police.

No one was hurt.

It is being investigated as criminal mischief, police said.
