• Firefighters rescue kitten from tree at Hoffman's Car Wash in Wilton (cbs6albany.com) — A kitten stuck in a tree at Hoffman’s Car Wash in Wilton prompted a careful rescue by Greenfield Fire District crews, with help from bystanders. The animal was then taken to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter to be checked and scanned for an owner, with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office also assisting at the scene.
   

• 'Make a Loud Noise:' North Country Music Students Assemble for Annual Summit (lakegeorgemirror.com) — North Country music students recently gathered at Ausable Valley High School for We Are Instrumental’s annual summit of workshops, rehearsals, and performances. Saratoga-based repair expert Bill Cole led hands-on sessions in brass and woodwind maintenance, giving local teachers and students practical skills while the program showcased a model for expanding arts access statewide.
