• Man, 20, Nabbed For Part In Illegal Speed Contest In Centereach Last Month: Police (patch.com) — Investigators from the 6th Precinct in Selden arrested a 20-year-old Rocky Point man after police say he took part in an illegal speed contest in a Centereach shopping center parking lot on Nov. 29. Officers from Suffolk’s Street Takeover Task Force reported the driver was spinning his tires and creating smoke before leaving, and his Dodge Challenger was seized as evidence.
