Bicyclist Struck, Injured By Car In Shirley: Police

The person was taken to a local hospital for treatment, Suffolk police say.

SHIRLEY, NY — A bicyclist was struck by a car and injured in Shirley on Wednesday night, Suffolk police said.

The person was struck by a 2008 Honda at the intersection of Surrey Circle and William Floyd Parkway at around 9 p.m., according to police.

The person was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
