  1. The MMSC Library-Mastic Breach will offer Mr. B's Book Buffet to kids ages birth-grade 6 on Friday, Feb. 24, at 4 p.m. Kids will have the chance to read classics and new literature. Snacks will be provided. You don't need to register. (MMSCL)
  2. Two men have burglarized the All American Auto Wreckers on Montauk Highway. Security cameras show the suspects stealing cash from cashiers before fleeing the scene in an SUV. Police are offering a cash reward for anyone with information that can lead to an arrest. (Patch)
  3. Breeze Airways once again increased destinations from MacArthur Airport. Flights to three popular destinations in Florida, along with Pittsburg and Richmond, will be available throughout the summer. (LongIsland.com)
  4. The Jazz Loft beats drums in various events celebrating Black History Month. There will be live performances, art exhibits and wine tasting. There will be a live performance with mandolin player Buddy Merriam of Sound Beach on Feb. 24 along with an art exhibit with all jazz mementos — not to mention a wine tasting on Feb. 25, featuring the wine of LVE (Legend Vineyard Exclusive, a flavorsome brand, Black-owned and available on Long Island.)
