- Have you heard of the Brookhaven Community Choice Aggregation energy program? The program will launch in May, offering energy options and allowing the town to buy natural gas on behalf of home and business owners. Read the whole story here. (Patch)
- Kiddos are invited to paint a polar bear at the Mastic Beach branch of the MMS Community Library on Monday, Feb. 27, at 4:30 p.m. An art teacher will help the kids to create a beautiful picture using oil pastels and paint with watercolors. (MMSCL)
- Sixteen William Floyd High School students were honored for their academic success accomplishments at the 32nd annual Black History Night Celebration organized by the Town of Brookhaven. These seniors have an impressive grade point average of 90 and higher. (Patch)
