Chase Bank Robbed In Suffolk: Police
A man went inside the bank, handed the teller a note demanding cash, and then left after the teller handed over cash, police say.
SHIRLEY, NY — Chase Bank in Shirley was robbed Friday afternoon, Suffolk police say.
A man went inside the bank, which is located on the northbound William Floyd Parkway, and handed the teller a note demanding cash at around 3:45 p.m., police said, adding that, the teller complied and the suspect left with cash.
The robber was described as a man with brown hair, who appeared to be in his 40s, and he was
wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, police said.

Suffolk's Major Case Squad is investigating, according to police.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline.
