- A Dairy Queen is expected to open in Mastic on Dec. 31. The new location will be at Carpet Express on Montauk Highway and features a menu with tasty burgers, fries, cheese curds, and a selection of ice cream, and cakes. (Patch)
- William Floyd School District is once again offering Saturday enrichment programs. The initiative comes after a partnership between William Floyd School District and the SCOPE Education Services Free Programs. The project aims to build a downtown with stores, dining options, offices, community halls, and more. Councilman Dan Panico said the project would prosper the community once it's finished.
