Kesnig Wins 6th Brookhaven Council District Race In Unofficial Results

Kesnig was leading Kerry Spooner by 68 percent to 31 percent with all 37 districts reporting, un official results show.

FARMINGVILLE, NY — Republican Karen Dunne Kesnig won the race for the 6th Council District against Democrat Kerry Spooner, according to unofficial results from the Suffolk County Board of Elections on Wednesday morning.

Kesnig was leading Spooner by 9,075 votes or 68 percent to 4,219 votes or 31 percent with all 37 districts reporting.
