Leisure Village Senior Club Donates To St. Jude Children's Hospital

A fleamarket and auction raised more than $3,000.

On April 3, the Leisure Village Senior Club in Ridge held a flea market and auction in their clubhouse to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event featured hundreds of items including small appliances, toys, games, lamps, glassware, knick-knacks and much more. The flea market and auction raised more than $3,000 for the hospital.

Councilwoman Bonner said, “I thank the Leisure Village Senior Club for holding their flea market and auction in support such a worthy cause. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital does great work to prevent and cure childhood diseases and the money donated by the Leisure Village Senior Club will help sick children get well.”
