Man Arrested In The Bronx In Long Island Woman's New Year's Eve Slaying: Cops
Detrich Emanuel, who has no last known address, was charged with second-degree murder in Kristine Constantino's shooting, cops say.
MIDDLE ISLAND, NY — A man was arrested Sunday in the Bronx for the slaying of a Long Island woman in her home on New Year's Eve, police said.
Detrich Emanuel, who has no known last address, was arrested on 144th Street in the Bronx and was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Kristine Constantino, according to Suffolk police.
Officers were called to Costantino's Artist Lake Drive home at around 11:27 a.m. on Dec. 31, and she was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later, police said.

Emanuel, 30, was held overnight at the Sixth Precinct in Selden pending his arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday, police said.
His arraignment information was not immediately available.
