Man Exposed Himself To Teen On Long Island Police

He stopped his SUV as the teen was walking in a residential area and committed a lewd act, police say.

MASTIC BEACH, NY — A Mastic Beach man has been charged in connection with exposing himself to a 16-year-old girl back in December, Suffolk police said.

The girl was walking on Mayfield Drive in Mastic Beach when a man driving a Sport-utility vehicle stopped, opened the door, and exposed himself to her "while committing a lewd act" at around 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 7, according to police.

Davion Commodore, 19, was arrested Sunday at around 11:30 a.m. following an investigation by detectives from the 7th Squad in Shirley, police said.

He was charged with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child, and he was released on a desk appearance ticket returnable to First District Court in Central Islip, according to police.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident, or who believes they may be a victim of Commodore, to call detectives at 631-852-8752.
