Man Shot Outside Of Long Island Bar: Police
He sought treatment of a non-life-threatening wound on his own, Suffolk police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — A man was shot outside of a bar in Mastic Beach on Saturday, Suffolk police said.
Officers received a call about a fight outside of Linsa Torr's Place on Neighborhood Road at around 12:17 a.m., according to police.
Before officers arrived, a 31-year-old man went to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound before they arrived, a police spokesperson said.

It is not clear whether the man was shot in the parking lot, the sidewalk, or the street.
Detectives from the 7th Squad in Shirley are investigating, according to police.
