MASTIC BEACH, NY — A man was struck in a hit-and-run and hurt in Mastic Beach on July 10, Suffolk police said Wednesday.

A man was walking southbound on Whittier Drive when he was struck by a vehicle that left the scene at around 9:15 p.m., according to police.

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
