  1. A Mastic man was a victim of a hit-and-run in Farmingdale. Hector Rodriguez was walking on a sidewalk on State 110 Tuesday when a Toyota Tacoma hit him. Driver Hugo Cuadra fled from the scene but was later arrested. (Daily Voice)
  2. A young boy from Shirley was hospitalized after eating cannabis laced gummies that he collected on Halloween while trick-or-treating. The five-year-old was transported to a nearby hospital on Tuesday. Police said he thought the gummies were from the brand Starburst. (Patch)
  3. Nearby News: Hot pancakes will be served at the new IHOP that is expected to open on Patchogue-Yaphank Road in 2023. The restaurant is taking over the vacant spot Ruby Tuesday's left during the pandemic. The town has approved a building permit and the site is under renovation. (Patch)
  4. New York Election Updates: Democrat Kathy Hochul will keep her job as New York governor, becoming the first woman elected governor in New York State.
