- Mastic Park Civic Association will host its monthly meeting on Feb. 16 at Mastic Fire Department. Legislator Mazarella will join the event to discuss the Sewer Project. Attendees will be able to ask questions. (Patch Events)

- The NY mask mandate will be lifted in healthcare facilities on Monday. Staff, patients, and visitors will no longer be required to wear face covering. Medical centers can follow the Disease Control Prevention guidelines and create rules. (LI News12)

- The Mastic Branch of the MMS Community Library is accepting donations of non-perishable food items to be donated to local pantries. Bring your items to the library through February if you are willing to support this cause and keep pantries stuffed for those in need in the neighborhood. (Patch)
- "A robber wielding a knife and a hammer attacked a woman in her Coram driveway and then sped away in her SUV early Sunday morning, only to be caught later in Manhattan with the help of the NYPD, Suffolk police said." (Patch)
