- The Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library was awarded environmental grants to be invested in the wastewater treatment system. Around $168,900 will go toward water quality preservation in the area. Read the whole story here. (Patch)
- There will be a send-off for the William Floyd High School Varsity Cheer Team Thursday at 5 p.m. at the High School. The event will be held in the gym at 240 Mastic Beach Road in Mastic Beach. (Facebook Events)
- The Great South Bay Music Festival returns to Shorefront Park in Patchogue in July! Tickets are now on sale for the four-day fest with more than 50 bands on stage and vendors! Visit Great South Bay Music Festival to check out the attractions and secure your spot! (News12)

- Friends of the Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge in Shirley will attend the 2023 Long Island Natural History Conference. Save the date for April 28 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Suffolk County Environmental Center. All interested in the theme are welcome to participate.(Wertheim Friends Events)
