- Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Library is hosting its weekly Messy Meetups 'Inside and Out' program on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 10 a.m. Notice the Mastic Beach branch hosts this event. It's an indoor session. (MMSCL)

- A drug dealer is being prosecuted for allegedly being responsible for a woman's deadly overdose. The 34-year-old man from Holbrook is accused of selling fentanyl to a woman who was later found dead by her mother. First responders transported her to Stony Brook Hospital, but she passed away days later. (Daily Voice)
