  1. Patients with kidney injury will have the opportunity to be submitted to a new treatment program at Peconic Bay Medical Center (PBMC). The hospital now has an advanced dialysis that operates slower than the traditional method. (Shirley-Mastic Patch)
  2. Young Women's Empowerment Conference will be at William Floyd Middle School. The event welcomes women of all ages.   3. Three men were investigated and busted for an illegal car meet-up in Yaphank. Charges include driving recklessly at an unsafe speed. They are scheduled to appear at a First District Court in Central Islip. (Patchogue Patch)
  4. County Executive Steve Bellone is in the last year of his term, and now it's time for candidates running for his seat to raise funds to support campaigns. Suffolk County Democratic Dave Calone expressed gratitude for those who helped him raise a total of $1.7 million in funds for his race as County Executive. Read the whole story here.
