Police Asking Residents To Review Ring Cameras After Long Island Shooting
Two suspects ran off on foot in opposite directions, police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY — Suffolk police are asking neighbors in the area near the Mastic Beach home that was shot at last week.
Police say they are looking for two people who ran in opposite directions after six shots were fired toward a house on Alder Drive at around 8:25 p.m. on Thursday.
Two of the bullets struck the home, but no one was hurt, according to police.

At least one of the suspects ran off, heading east on Queens Road, police said.
Seventh Squad detectives are investigating.
