Prior to paving, crews completed concrete improvements, inspecting all area drains and repairing and replacing damaged concrete sidewalk and aprons. The total cost for this paving project was approximately $650,000.
“This nearly 2.5-mile stretch of Revilo Avenue that runs parallel to William Floyd Parkway is a major artery in Shirley and was in need of resurfacing,” said Superintendent Losquadro. “I am happy we were able to include it in our 2022 paving season.”
