Missing Shirley Woman With Alzheimer's Found Safe: Suffolk Police

SHIRLEY, NY — A Silver Alert was issued Tuesday for a missing Shirley woman with Alzheimer's, Suffolk police said.
Lucille Wood, 71, of Ranch Drive was last seen walking out of a family member’s home on Belmont Drive, Shirley, at around 5 p.m. on Monday, according to police. She is possibly in the area of William Floyd Parkway, police said.

Wood is white, 5 feet 1 inch tall, 150 pounds with brown hair and eyes. She was last seen wearing a light blue t-shirt with a dog and dog bone on it, blue jeans, and black shoes.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on Wood’s location to call 911 or the 7th Squad at 631-852-8752.
