Shell Gas Station In Middle Island Robbed At Gunpoint: Police

It happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Suffolk police say.

MIDDLE ISLAND, NY — Shell Gas Station in Middle Island was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

A man waved a gun at a clerk and made off with some cash from the Middle Country Road location at around 4:30 p.m., according to police.

No one was hurt.

The man ran away from the gas station before officers arrived, police said.

Police did not have a description for the man available.
