- The Shirley 2022 Christmas Parade is set for Sunday, Dec. 4. Suffolk Police Officer Timothy Thrane is leading the Shirley-Mastic Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade 2022. While on duty, Thrane was seriously injured by a drunk driver in November 2021. (Shirley-Mastic Patch)
- Thanksgiving Meal boxes will be distributed for those in need at the correctional facility in Yaphank Tuesday at 10 a.m. About 450 turkeys and sides - gravy, stuffing and more - will be given out. Businesses in Patchogue and its surroundings donated to make the event possible. (Patch)

- The 60th Annual Patchogue Christmas Parade kicks off on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 6 p.m. on Main Street. The event starts at the corner of West Avenue and marches down the Main, ending at Route 112. This event is rain or shine. (Facebook events)
