- A Shirley man is facing charges for allegedly stealing six catalytic converters in Wading River. The pieces were stolen from the W.E.S. Trailer Services facility in December 2021. The Shirley-Mastic Patch has the whole story. (Shirley-Mastic Patch)

- Nearby News: Five people robbed L.I. Gold Mine Jewelry in Smithtown on Wednesday. Police said a woman wearing a mask was buzzed into the store at 135 West Main Street but held the door open for four armed men.
