  2. An 85-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her son's ex-girlfriend in Deer Park on Thursday in her house. Marie Mille was killed on Smith Street by Shaquela Titley, 30, of Deer Park. (Subscription: Newsday)
  3. A Centereach woman is helping other this Christmas with a pajama drive. Patricia Poggie was once 300 pounds but eventually lost 130 pounds and become involved in body building competitions. For the last 11 years, she's hosted the drive to lift spirits. (News 12)
