- The class of 1972 of William Floyd High School celebrated its 50th reunion on June 10. Principal Philip Scotto treated the golden visitors with a tour around the school, showing what has changed in the last decades. (Press Release Desk)
- A Play-Doh playdate will be hosted by the MMS Community Library at Southaven Park. Participants are asked to meet in the picnic area at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 30. (MMSC Library)
- The Riverhead raceway will host a Saturday with Independence Day fun for families. A derby race will start at 4 p.m., followed by an opening ceremony and fireworks at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults and $6 for children aged 6-12. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
