- Police are searching for two people caught on camera stealing a dog from the front yard of a home. The incident happened Friday afternoon on Hamilton Avenue in Riverhead. Anyone with information is asked to call 631-727-3333. (News12)
- A man was charged with BWI after crashing a boat in Point O' Woods in Fire Island. Edward Beekman was operating his boat after consuming alcoholic beverages around 3:13 a.m. Beekman was transported to a local hospital after the crash. No serious injuries were reported. (News12)
- Battle of the Books is set for Tuesday, July 5, at the Mastic Recreation Center. The program is for teenagers who love reading and trivia. The fun starts at 3:30 p.m. (MMSC Library)
