  1. Summer Concerts will be on the play just 15 miles away from Shirley! Alive on 25 Summer Street Festival will be held on Riverhead downtown in July and August starting at 5 p.m. on Fridays. (Riverhead Local)
  2. Little Builders are being called to explore LEGOs with Ms. Emily at Mastic Recreation Center on Tuesday, June 28 at 5:30 p.m. The center is located at 15 Herkimer Street in Mastic. (MMSC Library)
  3. Suffolk County Health Department announced that Bayport Beach in Bayport is closed for swimming. A bacteria that can cause stomach issues, sore throat, and eye infection was found in the water. For more information about beaches that are affected by the same bacteria, click here. (Patch)
  4. A notebook was found close to Brian Laundrie's body in Sarasota County park, with writings that indicate that Petito's death was a tragedy. According to Laundrie's memoir, Gabby Petito fell in a stream in the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping. (Patch)
