- Flights continued to be canceled on Monday due to omicron-related staffing shortages. American Airlines joined United Airlines, Delta and JetBlue in having to cut flights this week but so far no MacArthur Airport flights have been cancelled. (News 12)
- The Wading River family whose first baby, Ruby June Cotter, received a heart transplant for Christmas two years ago is hoping their second child will also get a new heart. Everett will turn a year old on Thursday. (Patch)
- Riverhead Town Police are seeking two teenage boys who left Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch in Riverhead. Ja-wan Groover, 15, and Anthony Salinas, 17, left the Middle Road facility on Christmas Eve around noon. (RiverheadLOCAL)
