- New Tiki Joe's Oceanview restaurant is now open, serving seafood munchies at Smith Point Beach in Shirley. The new eatery opens on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 5-9 p.m., serving classic dishes inspired by Tiki Joe's menu. (Greater Long Island)
- Suffolk Police is asking public help to identify two women who stole merchandise from the Famous Footwear shoe store on Montauk Highway in Shirley. A cash reward is being offered for whomever gives information that leads to an arrest. (News12)
- Bring your talents to the Mastic Recreation Center on July 8 at the "Illustrators Workshop" program. Participants will have fun drawing and sketching with Mr. Casper at 4 p.m. (MMSCL)
