1. Mastic Beach resident Christopher Miller, 26, was among of drivers arrested during a sobriety checkpoint in Patchogue on Friday. Police officers spotted multiple infractions in the area that appeared to be related to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Four people were arrested as a result of the operation. (Patch)
2. Mr. Scott will be at the Mastic Recreation Center for some "Drumming Up Fun!" Kids in Grades 1-6 learn some drumming techniques while working on the creation of percussion and rhythms! The class is set for Thursday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m. (MMSCL)
