  1. William Floyd School graduates won the Northwell Healthy Spark Challenge. The Students are now graduates and participated in the contest on July 2, making a video of EMTs responding to a motorcycle accident. (Press Release Desk)
  2. The Battle of the Books is set for Tuesday, July 12, at 3:30 p.m. at the Mastic Recreation Center. Kiddos in Grades 6-9 will read and play trivia to prepare for the competition against other libraries in August. (MMSPL)
  3. The North Shore Community Band Summer Concert Series will happen on July 16 at 7 p.m. The music will be played on the front lawn of the Wading River Congregational Church. The event is free. Don't forget to bring a blanket or chair. (Patch)
