- William Floyd School graduates won the Northwell Healthy Spark Challenge. The Students are now graduates and participated in the contest on July 2, making a video of EMTs responding to a motorcycle accident. (Press Release Desk)
- The Battle of the Books is set for Tuesday, July 12, at 3:30 p.m. at the Mastic Recreation Center. Kiddos in Grades 6-9 will read and play trivia to prepare for the competition against other libraries in August. (MMSPL)
- The North Shore Community Band Summer Concert Series will happen on July 16 at 7 p.m. The music will be played on the front lawn of the Wading River Congregational Church. The event is free. Don't forget to bring a blanket or chair. (Patch)
