- A ceremony in memory of the victims of the TWA Flight 800 was held at Smith Point Park on Sunday. Friends and families gathered to remember their loved ones who lost their lives in the tragic accident on July 17, 1996. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
- Suffolk County Health Department released a notice of beaches that should be avoided for swimming until July 20. Five beaches remain closed until further notice. Access the guide here. (TBR News Media)
