"The William Floyd High School varsity Rockettes, under the guidance of advisors Lisa Taiani and Tiana Necega, recently completed a successful season with an impressive win over their opponents at the Long Island Dance Team Association Competition in mid-February! The Rockettes, returning to competition for the first time in more than a decade, kicked and danced their way to the top and a first-place finish and the Innovative Choreography Award," according to a press release from the high school.   3. Police reported a man stabbed in the shoulder on Elder Drive in Mastic Beach. The incident happened on March 16 at about midnight. The man refused to provide any information to officers, said police. The injured man was taken to the Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead to be treated. No arrests have been made. (Patch)
  4. Brookhaven Highway Department will host a free Bicycle Rodeo on Saturday, March 26, at Safety Town, 249 Buckley Road, Holtsville. The Rodeo is part of the educational programs that are being offered this spring. (TBR News Media)
