  1. The William Floyd School District is signing up for the 2022 Summer Sports Camp. Students in grades 1- 12 will keep in shape with the sports modalities available. There is something for everybody. Visit the WFSD to access the brochure. (William Floyd School District)
  2. Drop in on Monday, June 20, at the Mastic Recreation Center for family fun outdoor activities! Miss Cathy will be in the yard with games and art supplies. All are welcome to the fun that starts at 11 a.m. (MMSC Library)
  3. Angel Tacuri from Patchogue will spend 20 years of his life behind bars for sexually abusing eight children at his wife's house day care. The sentence was given on Thursday, June 16, in a Suffolk County Court. (Patch)
  4. Police are asking for the public's help locating an elderly man with dementia who went missing on Wednesday. Paul Petruccelli lives in Coram. Anyone with information is asked to contact Suffolk Police. (Patch)

  • Stereo Garden in Patchogue is now hosting special events such as weeding, Sweet 16, and corporate events. Owner Paola Navarro said that, back in the day, the Garden was a banquet hall for the events in the community, and now its full speed in hosting special occasions. (Greater Long Island)
