- The Mastic Branch of the MMS Community Library is accepting donations of non-perishable food items to be donated to local pantries. Bring your items to the library through February if you are willing to support this cause and keep pantries stuffed for those in need in the neighborhood. (Patch)
- Nearby Events: Many may not know that Patchogue Harmony Cafe has a Lady's Spiritual Circle on the second Thursday of each month. Those looking for a non-judgment environment to express themselves and learn from others' experiences and thoughts. There is also meditation during the sessions. - Four new restaurants are set to open in Smith Haven Mall, but you might like to know that a Stony Brook Medicine Outpatient Facility and a Live Well store are also opening sometime this year. The outpatient facility will be located on the North Wing. Besides health care services, it will also host public events. To add to the facility, Live Well will offer nutritional supplements.
